The Stockport Business Expo is changing, we are producing a more comprehensive and exciting programme of Keynote Speakers and new lightning workshops which consist of 20 minute sessions designed to compact a longer session into more bite-size chunks for you to absorb.

The Conference Programme is only available to VIP Attendees and is part of the Conference and Event Programme improvements that we are making to the event to ensure that you get the best value out of your attendance to the Stockport Business Expo. 

Once registered as a VIP Attendee you can choose to attend as many or as little sessions as you wish to get the most out of the day.

We help our three councils (and the organisations they work with) arrange contracts for any supplies, services or building work that can’t be provided in-house. We are launching an exciting new initiative which aims to maximise the opportunities available for local suppliers and SME’s. We can provide you with information about how we are doing that as well as giving you information about to access these opportunities and provide excellent social value responses.

11:45 12:30 Keynote Speaker Carole Fossey Carole Fossey is a published Author, Keynote Speaker and founder of carolefossey.com and strategysocialmedia.co.uk.

After 20 years in recruitment, Carole’s recruitment agency was the first company in Manchester to hire a social media apprentice in 2013, and operated on her More Than a Gut Feeling principle, which is also a workshop.
Her background as Regional Manager of Computer Futures ( International IT recruiters, part of the S3 Group) and prior to that, as a senior manager at Yellow Page – involved her in rewriting both companies recruitment process to focus on the culture match. Her first book – The Book On Recruitment, How to Find and Hire Great People and Grow Your Small Business – is on Amazon, and she teaches her copyright D.R.I.V.E. Recruit and Grow Formula, which teaches you how to grow your business through finding and hiring the right people for you.
Her talk is entertaining, informative, educational and inspirational. Expect fun, laughter and to get involved.
